​A Prom for St George's Day!

On Sunday April 23rd, the band were joined by Homechoir and UWE Singers, performing alongside thousands of singers from around the world, in special "Prom for St George's Day" at the fabulous 1532 Performing Arts Centre of Bristol Grammar School

Proceeds from the concert were donated to Alive Activities, a charity dedicated to improving the quality of life of older people and their carers. The performance saw a large and appreciative audience in attendance, waving flags, singing along to and enjoying a series of patriotic favourites from the band and both choirs, who also combined together with a massed virtual Homechoir from across the globe, who joined together on screen with the live band & choir for massed performances of Parry's Jerusalem and Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus 

The band thoroughly enjoyed performing at the event and look forward to performing in additional Proms themed concerts soon
