Whit Friday - Friday 29th May 2026
CoBBB/Scratch Band (depending on numbers)
We are currently looking at hotel, coach and viability options for Whit Friday 2026. Couple of options for travel depending on numbers and distribution of people.
Pieces for march and contest are still to be decided but please include any suggestions in the email reply.
Cost
In 2024, option 1 was £165/person (with £50 single room supplement) however we would expect this to be more in the region of £200/person in 2026.
Option 2 would be cheaper and as we will not have the cost of the coach for full time, and the drivers accommodation and may be the preferred options, especially if people are coming from all over the UK.
Once the final cost is confirmed, we will be asking for a deposit.

- Coach leaving from Bristol-ish area Friday morning, returning Saturday mid-afternoon. We would then have the coach available for traveling around the villages.
- Everyone travels up separately, and we get a coach to pick up and drop off from the hotel on Friday.

Estes Park International Tattoo Colorado 2026
CoBBB/UK Scratch Band (depending on numbers)
The Estes Park International Tattoo is one of the largest and longest established military music displays in the United States, and indeed the world. CoBBB attended in September 2022 and had an absolute blast.
The tattoo is Sept 11th to 13th 2026 and therefore we would be travelling Tuesday 8th September to Monday 14th September 2026.
Cost
Once arriving in Colorado, all accommodation, food and transport USA side is provided by the tattoo – staying at the fabulous YMCA. Therefore, our costs would be flights to Colorado (Heathrow to Colorado) and transport to and from the airport (UK).
Currently, depending on numbers it looks likely we will all make our own way to the airport. With this in mind, there is an anticipated costs of £700.00/person for the flights including extra luggage for the larger instruments.
If there is a group going from Bristol, we could look at getting a small coach, which will be costed separately.
To secure the flight booking, we will need a deposit by the end of the year, and can then set up a payment schedule for the remaining cost.
