After a long diversion round the terrible accident the night before on the M5, the band grouped on time at Westlands School in Torquay for a rehearsal.  A little nip and tuck here and there. Then off to the Riviera Centre to the contest. 


The test piece was the fantastic Gothic Suite. Everything went OK on stage and the performance put the band at a very creditable 4th out of 8.

Full report coming soon, but in the meantime, here are a few videos of the rehearsal, beginning and middle part of Suite Gothic. The Last movement was not recorded.  Shame really as that in my opinion is the best part.  (Well I was a bass player!)
